Connecting the Iteaduino MEGA 2560 to an ENC28J60

Iteaduino Mega 2560 and ENC28J60

I found little information on connecting the ENC28J60 to a Mega 2560 so using the Arduino ethercard library (docs) I connected it up as follows.

ENC28J60 Iteaduino MEGA 2560
CLK N/C
INT N/C
WOL N/C
SO MI
SI MO
SCK SCK
CLK N/A
CS SS
RST RST
VCC 3V3
GND GND

Testing with the supplied examples “backSoon” and “testDHCP” was successful after changing the ether.begin to use pin D53 for SS.

if (ether.begin(sizeof Ethernet::buffer, mymac,53) == 0)

    I don t see where the resonator is. I don t see the pin to connect it to either. Can you show me?

      I’m not sure what you mean by resonator but the ENC28J60 SCK pin is connected to the SCK pin on the Iteaduino MEGA (the ENC28J60 CLK pins are not connected).
